Isaiah 41:13
For I the Lord your God hold your right hand; I am the Lord, Who says to you, fear not; I will help you!
Who said that we could come to Jesus, everything will be okay, easy sailing, no worries? Well they lied. Truth be told, if you want a nice easy, stress free and unchallenging, stay away from a relationship with Jesus! This way you will not be challenged not grow and not reach your full potential (you will however have a fairly easy time of it...) He did however say we would not need to do this alone! He said He will hold our hands and will help us. The challenges are therefore not too much, not more than we can bear and not going to overwhelm us (even if it feels like they will!) James says rejoice when we are faced with many trials because it is intentional (God has ensured that it will not be easy). So take heart, help is on the way... ;)

Often we don't realize that what we are currently doing is what God wants us to do.
We are continually wanting something else, instead of wanting the now.
Are things really so crap in the Garden of Eden that we are always looking to eat a forbidden fruit.
